9 TATJMARUNUI BRANCH Resolution. .()> TelTaumarunul, February 28. *At a meeting of the branch of the Railway Servants yesterday, the cost of living was discussed, and a resolution was carried affirming that the Government had not. seriously dealt with the question, but was allowing exploiters free and unrestricted opportunity to amass wealth while the pick of the manhood of the wa6 fighting at the sacrifice of their lives, and leaving their families to the mercy of the ex. ploitor, whioh was to the everlasting disgrace of the Government. Further, that the maximum price should be fixed oil all the necessaries of life, and any objector's business should be taken over and run as a Government concern. The branch strongly supports compulsory sarvice and compulsory production of the necessaries of lifa at a reasonable pro lit.
