A. correspondent of tho "Fiji Times" writes on February 17: "A strange boat, painted dark grey, with three funnels, and a build like a man-o'-war, was seen off the coast of Kandaun last Week. Slio steamed/along very slowly, quite close to the reef at Naigoro Pass in ' broad daylight, not flying anv flag." The correspondent' reports the incident with particular bearing on the demand for the internment of Germans at Fiji.
