Tho National Reserve reunion meeting, whioli was arranged for February 29, has been postponed unavoidably. A parade of the various units and companies, which may have been postponed for that date, may now be ,held. A Christchurch message states: "A young lady of society rank had an experience in Cathedral Square, from which she may learn much. A meeting of representatives of local bodies met at Hamilton to discuss what action is to be taken in regard to the contractors' labourers' demands. Tho following resolution was passed:—"This mooting does not consider it desirable that their ordinary labourers, who practically have permanent work, should bo brought under the same award as casual Workers employed by contractors."
