DAMAGED CARGO CLAIM AGAINST A SHIPPING COftIPANY A claim against a shipping company, 111 respect of damaged cargo, was heard in the Supreme Court yesterday before His Honour Mr. Justice Chapman and a common jury of four. It was set out in the statement of claim that, on or about April 27 last, 8-t cases of machinery and two bundles of platforms were''delivered to tho deieiidaut company hi London, to he shipped to Nii\v Zealand by the steamer Indrapura, and to be delivered in good order and condition to the plaintiff company. A printing cylinder and two roller stocks, when delivered tc tho plaintilt company, were so injured as 10 be. useless.
