» LOCKERS FOR LYALL BAY. Tfie folding recommendations of the Baths and Beaches .Committee were adopted by tho City Council last' evening:— "That the "Wellington Centre of the Amateur Swimming Association be granted the use of. the To Aro baths from 2 to 5 o'clock on Saturday next, for certain soldiers' swimming matches, the public to be admitted free to the baths, and that authority bo granted for a collection to be taken up' in aid of the Mayoress's Liverpool Fund. "That a set of 54 lockers for storage of clothing, etc., bo installed in the I men's bathing shed at Lyall Bay at a , cost of £3-2 Bs., and also that a chargi of 3d. be made for each use, in addition to which will be required to doposithe sum of Is., which will be rcfundei on the return of the key. "That email improvements be effectw to the roof of the bathing shed a Evans Bay (Kilbirfiio South), and ; concrete walk leading to the outsidi of the shed be constructed at a cost o £6, as recommended. Tho question o the erection of a shower, estimate cost £20, to be held over for the pre sent season."
