THIRTY DIRECTORS RESIGN. By Telegraph—Press Association—Copyright (Uec. February '24, 10.25 p.m.) London, February 24. Thirty out of the thirty-three directors of the Manchester Chamber of Commerce have resigned, in consequence of the Free Trade ballot. [At the annual meeting of the Manchester Chamber of Commerce, ,tho directors' memorandum to the annual report declared that the Chamber would require unmistakable proof before the sacrifice of the Free Trade policy, which had been productive of such beneficial results. The meeting by a large majority passed a resolution referring the memorandum back for reconsideration, whereupon the directors decided to take a ballot.'
