THE CHAMPIONSHIPS. By Telegraph—Press Association. Talhape, February 23, The Kangifcikei Agricultural and Pastoral Show, held at Taihajie to-day, was a rccord-breakiiig event as regards en« tries and attendance. The aggregates for cup awards have not yet been completed. The following championships were awarded: — Sheep—Romnoy ram, A. R. Fannin; ewe, J. 13. Gflisford. Lincoln ram and ewe, J. Wilson. Border Lcicosters, G. H. Brown. ' Five heaviest lambs, H. D. Bennett; 1 and 2. Cattle-rShorfcliom ' bull, J. Bartosh. Hereford .bull, Durrant and Swift. Jersey bull and cow, M'Kenzie's Estate. Dairy Cattle —A. Crawford won the Goodrich Cup. The .Gaisfords, of Bulls, took the championship for harness horse and pony. #
In pigs, J. T. Taylor won nearly all the prizes.
