SENDING MEN INTO CAMP. By Telesraph.—Prese Association. Dunedln, Februar.V 23. The Hon. James Allen (Defenoe Minister), interviewed by a reporter, referred to the misunderstanding as to sending men straight into camp aftor enlistment. He explained that when peculiar circumstances existed in the Wellington district, he agreed to allow those mou : to proceed direct to camp. It was never contemplated, however, nor was it announced, to establish a general rule, which would be quite impracticable, causing chaotic congestion at the training camp.
