WATERSIDE WORKERS

A UNION MEETING,

Fully eight hundred members were present at a general meeting of the Waterside Workers' Union, held in X shed last evening. Mr. F. Curtice presided.

The meeting decided to vote £250 to the Broken Hill Strikers' Fund.

It was decided to pay , off the debt on the band instruments. -

An announcement was received from one of the companies that lencefortli their casual foremen are to be members of the union. 1

The quarterly financial statement was. received.
