"At Epiual, ail albatross machine was brought down by our artillery. "11l the region of Bures, north-east of the Forest of Parroy, a German machine was smashed by two of ours. "A squadron of seven French machinos fought four of the enemy's aeroplanes at Vignoulles; two of the latter were brought down, ana the tw ; o others fled, _ "The enemy's aeroplanes bombarded Fismes, Bar-le-Due, and Revigny. At the latter place an enemy squadron of lifteen machines was attacked by on*- squadron, and the fight resulted in one of the enemy's' machines being brought down. At Givenchy, a second was forced to descend. "One of our squadrons of seventeen machines dropped sixty-six bombs on the aviation field at Habsheim, and on the goods station at' Mulhouse. "Twenty-eight machines bombed the enemy's munition works at Pagny-Sur-Moselle; r-11 the machines returned safely. "A Zeppelin, at St. Menechould, was brought down by an armoured car falling in flames in the neighbourhood of Brabant-le-.Roi." ' 'Twenty-six British aeroplanes carried out an attack on the depots at Don yesterday. . It is believed that extensivo damage was done to stores and to the railway ; all the machines returned safely.
