The Australian Miners' Association has deckled not to use its own fund's to rolieve the distress at Broken Hill, as, the money is required for Court expenses. Melbourne, February 21. The Albion Woollen Mills at Geeloug v/ere completely destroyed by fire. Two hundred and eighty hands, who wera manufacturing khaki, are idle. The damage amounts to £30,000. The caus« of the fire is unknown.
