The Mayor agreed with the Minister, ana that it would bo far better ii
the services of such were accepted at once, and the men placcd in a concentration camp, where they could receive physical training that would fit them tor military training later on. Sooner or later the Government would have to do it. HS stated that it was no gi-ofj going on with the appeal until they got the badges. They could not make tho personal appeal until they knew those who were entitled to exemption and those who liad been to the front. He proposed that the Minister should bo interviewed, and urged to Sssue the Badges at onee.
F. LuckiY,: "The badges are csßntial. As soon as they are known to be issued the women will look askance at the man'who cannot show a badge." It was decided that the Minister be seen about the badges to-day.
