EOTORUA LEA.YING FEBRUARY 26. The New Zealand Shipping Company's Itotorua is listed to arrive here an February 23. After completing her loading ehe is expected to clear for London, via ports, on February 26. THE ITOERAEI'S TKIP. Somewhat delayed by rough weather, the Moeraki arrived in port from Sy»iney at 2.15 this morning. She anchored in the stream, and came up to the wharf early in the forenoon. The vessel brought, about 1000 tonß of cargo for Wellington, including tranchipmente ex Empire, Sonoma, Ktlybor, aud Jethou. The atoeraki proceeded to Lyttelton lest evening, and she will return on Thursday in time to sail for Sydney on that day. TAINTJI SAILS ON MONDAY. It has been found necessary to again alter the sailing date of the Home liner Tainui, and tho vessel will not now get away for 'London, via way ports, until 3 p.m. on Monday next. The Tainui is due in port to-day from Lyttelton. WAIMATE FOR NEW ZEALAND. The liner Woimate sailed from St. John last Friday for Adelaide, Melbourne, Sydney, and the four principal New Zealand ports. : She should reach Wellington about April £2. ANOTHER DETON. Advice ha 6 been received that the new F. aira S. liner Devon left Sydney on SaiuruSy afternoon last for Ttokomaru Bay to commence ■ leading. She then goes on to Gisborne and Wellington, arriving here aijout February 23. She will, it is espected, clear here on March 4 for Avoninouui and Liverpool. MESS-TAELE GOSSIP. ■ Mr. E. Gunn has signed on the Mararoa as third engineer. jtfr. "Whitfield, chief officer of the Kamona, has signed off that vessel. Mr. Jackson-Fowler, first mate of the Kara, has transferred to the Kamono in tho capacity of chief. Mr. Burns takes Mr. Jackson-Fowler's place, while Captain Peldek, late master of the auxiliary ecow Magis, fills Mr. Burne's position. - The Arahura is expected here from the West Coa£t ports abont 3 o'clock this afternoon. The Kamona clears Wellington to-mor-row at noon, far Westport, where she will load coal for Dunedin. The Mar.ourika, after having been laid up. in the stream for-some time, came up to the Queen's Wharf yesterday to be put into readiness for her new running in the West OoMt service. In continuation of her-voyage for Liverpool, the New Zealand Shipping (Jompany's liner Tongariro is due here on Thursday morning. It is expected that, she wilt be about five daye loading here. The Berwick Law, due here from Gisborno on Thursday morning,. is expected to clear for London early on Sunday morning. The liefender is due in port to-day from Hokitika, from whence she brings some 67,000 feet of timber to be landed at Miramar. She will be dispatched to Karamea. on Friday. The Talawa sails on Friday morning for Hobart and Melbourne, to complete discharge. She then . proceeds Home The Ka-ru sails for New Plymouth at 5 p.m. to-day, proceeding then to Greymouth to load for Wellington. Among the latest- charters appearing in the Sydney "Shipping List" is the name of the barque Bona, which is to load coal at Newcastle for Auckland.
