I consider construction, design, and experiment the most important factors. The German Press is hysterically assuring the public that Germany has complete supremacy of the air, and' claims that the resignation of Sir Percy Scott as Controller of the air defenoes of London was on account of the German triumphs. It is pointed out that Ramsgate and Broadstairs had been previously invaded—when first the Saxons landed and conquered England. LORD FRENCH TO COMMAND THE AIR DEFENCES SYSTEM OF WARNINGS

Lord French has taken over tho supreme oommand of the land and air defences, and the Admiralty is controlling the naval coastal defences. Lord French is considering a scheme for the suspension of telephones and road traffic in certain districts, and an elaborate system of outposts, warning aerodromes of the approach of Zeppelins and other aircraft.' ' Enemy, fieroplanes bombed Milan, but were subjected to a hot fire from antiaircraft guns, while squadrons of Italian aeroplanes counter-attacked. The enemy fled. Six civilians were killed and some were injured. The material damage was slight. DAMAGED ZEPPELIN ADRIFT London, February 14. Reports frora Copenhagen state that Zeppelin L2O, in a damaged state, is drifting in the North Sea near the German coast.
