The Now Zealand Loan and Mercantile Agency Co., Ltd., report:—At Ekctahuna, on Friday, we had a large entry of sheep and a small one of cattle. At the commencement, the sale was inclined to be dragging, but later competition became keener and good prices were realised. We quote-.—Forward 2-tooth wethers, 235. <rd.: fa.t' 4-tooth wethers. 255.; small 2-tooth wethers, 18s. 3d.; mixed aged ewe 3, 225. lid. and 215.; aged ewes, 16s. 4d. to 18s. 6d.; h.f. rape lambs, 15s. 4d. and 14s. 5a.; medium w.f. lambs, 14s. 5d.; small do.. Us. 3d. to 13s. 6d.; 3-slicar LincoiS raids, 3fenst 'to sgns.; empty cows, £6 10s.; yearling steers, £2 10s.
