The Government is prohibiting the importation of gastronomic luxuries. In announcing a shortness in tea, coffee, and cocoa, it advises that tea can bo made from strawberry leaves and apple peel. Women are advised to -forego hat feathers, expensive furs, lace, imported jewels, and Swiss watches. The women are rebuked for their devotion to the Paris fashion papers.
