GERMANS AND THE VOTE ' ELECTORAL DISABILITIES. By Telegraph—Press AsMciation—Copyright •' Sydney, February 14. Mr. Holman, l'remier of New South Wales, announced that the question of ihe electoral disabilities of Germans Would be submitted to Parliament. Naturalised Germans would bo debarred from participating in municipal elections. Other precautions would include the renewal of the oath of allegiance and declarations of loyalty. WHARFMEN AND FOOD PRICES.
STRIKE FOB, CHEAPER BREAD. Melbourne, February. 14. The wharf labourers have refused to load flour until the price of bread has been reduced to 6d. a loaf. The position ia serious.
