The last meeting of tlie Relief . Committee of the War Belief Association of Wellington was attended by Messrs. Wm. Ferguson (in the chair), L. 0. H. Tripp, F. W. Wanton, D. M'Lareu, L. M. A. lleardcn, and E. J. Colley. Apol-, ogios for absence wore received from Messrs. Hutclieson, J. Lewis, and A. lv. Atkinson. In all, 39 applications were considered, and various grants wpre made. The Patriotic Exhibition at the Town Hall will open on Saturday at 3 p.m. Tliero will bo no charge for admission, and school parties are advised to take advantage of the special week-end rates. Messrs. Orbell and Co., Palmerstoa North, have a coastal bush property lor sale.
