He had linen drinking, and had liquor oven that morning. The Coroner returned a verdict of suicido while temporarily insane. SERIOUS TRAP ACCIDENT. Taiiranga, February M. While driving on tho Ohauiti Estate, six miles from town on Saturday, a trap containing Mrs. Wilson and Misr. Barnctt, daughter of Mr. Maughan Harnett, the Auckland City Organist, overturned. Mrs. Wilson was not injured, but Miss Barnett suffered a fracture of the baso of the skull, and now lies in a semi-conscious condition in tho Tauranga Hospital. ELDERLY MAN'S SUDDEN DEATH. To Kuitl, February 14. An elderly single man, named Jolin Scott, a resident- of Mnngapehi, died suddenly on Saturday evening, when returning to To Kuiti from the racecourse. At the inquest to-day a verdict of death from natural causes was returned. INQUEST TO BE HELD. A waterside worker, named Robert Henry Walker, residing in Martin Square, died suddenly in bed at an early liour yesterday morning. It is supposed that death was due to heart failure. An inquest will be held, but tke time has not been fixed.
