■ .The entries for the Mastwton Show, V'hicu is to bo held at Solway on Tuesday.and Wednesday, indicate'that a fine exhibition of stock will bo recorded. The tries in fat cattle; :it is stated, are-a record, for the ' Dominion, while the purebred classes in'both cattle and - ebecp.' are exceptionally well filled. Tho liKomneys and Lincolns are expected to ( make one of the finest displays of these (■classes, of sheep seen in tlie North Island. As the train arrangements are ;j of a. particularly suitable character, it ;is expected that there will be a large of the public. There will be ' Humorous competitions to interest tlie ( public, whilo several hundred troopers :from.;the camps will also be present, jHot water is supplicxl free, and picnic j parties can partake of their lunch in ' the, shade of the beautiful Solway bush.
