' The annual show .of the Masterton A., and P'. Association, which, is to bo -held on the beautiful Solway grounds : on Tuesday and "Wednesday next, Feb- / ruary 15 and ,16, promises to easily ■ eclipse any previous show. The display in sheep and cattle will be the iinest ever seen in the Wairarapa, and the/ exhibitvof.'fat cattle .will be a record' for New Zealand as far as numbers arc k concerned. Breeders new to the districi; will exhibit this year in both sheep ami cattle, 'Die train arrangements should suit visitors from far. and near, aii.d those who desire accommodation, g.t Masterton can obtain it on application , to the secretary (Mr. J. B. Emmet't). There will be plenty to amuse the general public who are not directly ini;er-, ested in. stock, for there .are var/ous interesting competitions, and there'will be a display by several hundred soldiers from the camps. Picnic parties can obtain an unlimited supply of hot water free, and'luncheon may be, partaken of'in" the' shady bush or under the clumps of trees scattered throughout the grounds. Solway is an ideal place to spend ■ a pleasant day, and visitors shouldMiot niiss the opportunity afforded by the convenient trains, which carry themxright jto the gates of tbia showgrounds.
