It has been pointed out that there had been no raid on London since ' he was appointed. They urge that Mr. ' Churchill be given command of tihe air j services. , Tho Midland Counties have arranged 1 a system of precautions independent of tho War Office. The majority of the newspapers are clamorous and urge on the training, experimentation, and construction of aircraft, so securing our dominance in ihe air. Powerful offensives, they insist, are necessary. The German General Staft has warned Kiel and! Cologne to expect air raid reprisals.
