NATIONAL RESERVE
A REUNION TO BE HELD. 1 A largely attended meeting of officers was held at Headquarters last evening to further -arrangements in conncction with the, annual reunion of the National Reserve in the Wellington Districtabout 20 officers being accounted for. Colonel T. W. Porter, C.8., Commandant, was in 'the chair, and a largo amount of business was got through. Amongst the various committees set up the following were appointed, and there is every promise that the function will prove an undoubted success. Similar meetings have been held for one or two years in other centres —though not under the title of tlio National Reserve — and should be no reason why Wellington. should not have just as successful a gathering is at other placcs: —Hall and Decoration Committee,-Lieut.-Colonel Troup, Major Davis, V.D., Major Veitch; Refreshment Committee, Liouts. Grant and James: Programme Committee, Majors Wells and Newton; Invitation and Reception Committee, Coh/nol Porter, Major Morison, Major Tmvnsend; Printing, „Advertising, and Financial Committeo, Captain Hsckworth.- Lieut. Colley. It was agreed, that the reunion .be held in tho Town Hal! on Tuesday, March 29,'' and thai' the hall bo at once engaged for that date.
