"An unexploded 12in. shell has been found in some refuse at tlio Corporation refuse destructor works at Bradford. The assumption is that it was brought homo by a soldier, who thoughtlessly disposed of it by throwing it rnto the ashpit." Thus says the "Daily Chronicle": "but inasmuch as a live 12in, shell weighs at least 7501b., I can only say he was 'some' soldier," addß u writer in "London Opinion."
