» INJURED WITH AN AXIO. A man, named E. Hound, a resident of Upper Hutt, was admitted to tlio Wellington Hospital at half-past 0 o'clock last suffering from asevere wound 011 the right leg—a cut from an axo. FARMER GORED BY A BULL. Pahiaiua, February 8. i John Ambrose Bradley, aged 45, a married man with a family, who was engaged in dairy farming at Konini, was fatally gored by a bull whicli he was lea-ding. BODY IDENTIFIED. Auckland, February 8. The body found in the harbour has been identified as that of Boydon S. Comiier, a widower, a visitor from Nelson, who was in Auckland on a holiday. A FARMER DROWNED. Pahiatua, February 8. Thos. King Mason, a married man with a young family, and a selector on. tho Mangatninoka Block, was drowned wliile crossilig the Mangahao River. With his horse and- trap he was driving sheep, across when some of the sheep went down the stream. Mason went after them, aiul disappeared.' The body has not yet been recovered. A 3'oung son, who was accompanjing him, previously jumped out. KILLED BY A MOTOR COACH. Auckland, February 8. Harold Gardiner, aged eleven, living •at Eden Terrace, was killed by a motorcoach to-day whilst crossing the roadway. He became' confused as to the direction of the coach, which was returning from a funeral. -
