The Now Zealand Loan and Mercantile Agency Co., Ltd., report having held a most successful clearing Hale of dairy cows, etc., on.account of Sir. H. Guy, of A.to-1, on Thursday. There was not a large attendance of buyers, but bidding was keen throughout. The cows made from £A for three-teaters to £13 12s. 6d. for sound, and the heifers from £4 15s. to £8 55., the whole heTd averaging £8.- At Eketahiina, oil Friday, we had a good yarding of sheep and a small one of cattle. A large. attendance of buyers were present, and-bidding was fairly animated throughout' the sale, with the exception of. one email pen a. total clearance was : mado under the hammer at tho following rates:—Good b.f. rape lambs, 15s. Bd.; good w.f. wether lambs, 14s. 3d.; medium m.s. lambs, 12s. 10d.; small do.. 10s. to 12s. 3d.; low-conditioned, four and five-year ewes, 155.. Bd.. to 16s. 3d.; aged ewes, 12s. 3d.; store cows, £5 17s, 6d.; wcaner, heifers, £1 ss. Messrs. Abraham and Williams, Ltd., report on their Feilding sale held on Friday as follows:—We submitted a heavy yarding of sheep and a fair yarding of cattle to a good attendance. Competition was keen, all classes of stock meeting with a. ready sale, with the result of a total clearance at the following rates:—Four, and five-year ewes, 18s. lOd. to 215.;. others, 165.; good shorn rope lambs, 13s. 8d„ 13s. 10d., 15s. 3d., to 15s. Bd.; two-tooth wethers, 235. Bd.; fat . ewes, 215.; fat wethers, 235. Fat cows (light),-- £7: to £7. ss. ;• eighteenmonth to two-year steers, £3 55., £4 125., t-o £4 17s. 6d.; weaners, mixed, 255. to' 375.; springing cow, £9 bulls,. £4. l(ls. to £15 los. . • Messrs.■ Abraham and.
