GERMAN CRUISER ROON
ROVING ABOUT THE ATLANTIC. Washington, February 3. Rumours are current here 'that tlie German war cruiser Boon is roving the Atlantic. [The German cruiser Roon is an armoured cruiser of 9350 tons, with four 8.2 and ten 5.9-inch guns. The rumour possibly docs not refer to tin's vessel, but to a merchantman of the same name which has at times been reported to have escaped from internment in Batnvia.]
