At daylight yesterday the Nct Zealand Shipping Company's R.M.S. / Rotorua arrived at Auckland from London, via Capo Town and Hobart. UGANDA FEOJI NEW YORK. Advico has been received by, G. H. Scales, Ltd., that the Barber chartered liner Uganda left New York on January 6 with cargo. lor Australian and Nero Zeakind ports. The vessel will not come to Now Zealand, but will tranship her freight at Sydney. _•OP AW A AT THE ' OAPE. Information was received, in Wellington yesterday that tho P. and S. chartered steamer Opawa. had. arrived at Cape Town from Liverpool. She is en route to Wellington, and will make calls at Melbourne, Sydney, and Auckland, being duo here about March 18. 0. AND D. LINERS' MOVEMENTS. The ludrapura arrived at Auckland from London at 9.50 "a.m. yesterday. She is due here about. February 9. Later information in regard to the Nivvarir- has come to hand showing that the vessel did not* leave London for Australia and New Zealand ports till January 18. She will. not therefore arrive here till about the cud of March. The Hawko's Bay was to have left London for Australian. ports on Monday last. MESS-TABLE GOSSIP. . Captain Kelly, who for some time had command of the Mamari, ha® been, transferred to tho Waiwcra, which is due here about February 14 from St. John, via Australian ports. Mr. F. The local office of the Union Company advise that tho ICamona will be dispatched for Tiraaru and Lyttelton at noon to-mor-row. Cargo will oe received for Timaru till 10.30 a.m. On February 9 the Kini will leave the Bluff for Wellington, via gout-hem ports. Subsequently she will proceed on to Westport and Grcymouth. : <• The departure of the Paloona for Hobart and Melbourne has been postponed till 10 p.m. to-morrow. Cargo will be received on the Wellington Wharf till 10.30 a.m. only. Continuing her journey from Greymouth, tho Arahura left Westport for Neteon at 11 a.in, yesterday. She- passed through the last-mentioned port' late last night, and is due here this morning. The vessel's running to Picton and back on Saturday has been abandoned, and she will leave for tho West Coast, via Picton and Nelson, as usual on Monday. The Pateena will call at Picton to-inorrow afternoon en route to Wellington from Nelson. The Manuka, .which is due thiß morning ! from Lyttclton, will be dispatched from the Queen's Wharf No. 1 north for Sydney direct at 5 p.m. to-day. A full load of .timber will be brought to Wellington from GTeymouth this week-end by tlie Kararou". Subsequently she proceeds on to Lyttclton. •New Plymouth and Nelson cargo will be taken in at Wellington by the Corinna on Saturday. The Shaw-Savill liner Zealand to arrived at Adelaide from Liverpool yesterday-morn-ing. She will complete dißcharge in Australia, and will come across to New Zealand about the end of this month to load lor Home. Tho Island trader Talune Is at present in dock at Auckland, being overhauled.
