Messrs. - Dalgety and Co., Ltd., Wellington, report having held their usual Levin sale on Wednesday, when they offered a good 'yarding of both sheep and cattle. The sheep met with a, good Eale, but tho .cattle offered, with the exception of steers, mot with rather a. dragging sale. They disposed of practically all lines of eheep' under tho hammer. • Quotations: Fat ewes, 20s. 9d. to 235.; lambs, 10s. 7d. and 10s. id., 12s. 3d., 12s. Sd., to 15s. Messrs. ,W. and 6, Turnbull aud Co., Ltd., report having held their usual weekly sale- of stock'.at their Waipoua. (Masterton) sale yards on Wednesday.
