TOURNAMENT FIXTURES. The quarterly meeting of the Council of the New Zealand Lawn Tennis Association is to be held on February 29. The report to be submitted by the Management Committee states that the Canterbury Association advises receipt of a considerable sum for tho Wilding Memorial, and that it is closing its list's in February. A total of twenty-three clubs have responded to tho appeal, and forwarded to tho New Zealand Association sums totalling £19 6s. (not including Canterbury Clubs). The special committee set up at the annual meeting decided to issue requests to clubs in the Wellington provincial district that they should hold tournaments or arrange donations to this fund. A sum of £18 16s. , was collected and handed to the secretary of the Soldiers' Christmas Gift Committee.

The Canterbury Association advised that it had decided to play no further tournaments or matches until after the war, awl that all interclub matches at present being piayed were declared off. 11l the emit of the New Zealand Championship mooting being held, it will be necessary that assoeiatiotir, decide upon the adoption of a ball. At a previous meeting of the council it was resolved that each year tho matter of adopting or approving of one or more makes of ball for the New Zealand Championship meeting be referred to each alFiliatecl association for its opinion, and the matter to be deeided at a subsequent meeting of the council. One question to bo considered by the council is a recommendation bv' the Management Committee that, in view cr present .conditions and consequent shortage in, club membership, subscriptions for 1915-16 by affiliated associations be the same as last year, less 25 per cent, rebate.
