Wo have made big claims for the Studebakev 'car on the score of its reliability, its simplVSSy, the ease with which, it can he driven. The following letter, addressed to us by Mr. B. Cowper, surgeondentist, of this city, demonstrates the kind of 6ervice the Stjudebaker will give in the hands of an owner who has had comparatively little driving experience. Mr. Cowper purchased a Stndebaker car from ■us on November 30th last, and his first lengthy tour was one in the North Island during the recent Christmas and New Year holidays. Concerning his experiences on that tour, Mr. Cowper writes: "Just a few lines to tell you how thoroughly satisfied I am with my Studeb;\ker car. As you know, I took it away with me'to the North Island, and went in all about HOO miies, over all the big hills up ill the north. Going from Wellington through to Napier over the R.mutakas, across to Palinerston, wanganui, Rnd New Flyinonth, and back to Welhnffton over the famous Paekakariki Hill, the car took all the big hills with the greatest ease/ and did not give mo the Slightest anxiety. All that distance it was not touched by anyone save to give it petrol and oil, and we did not even have to put wind into the tyres. You will lie surprised to hear that I brought the car over the Zig-zag from Lyttelton to Sumner. whiclv says something for the car and the way you taught me to drive." Tho Studebaker driven by Mr. Coivpcr was, of course, equipped with electrio •self-starter and electric lights. Tho new 1916 model Studcbakors will be to hand shortly! a first shipment being expected next week. The prices of the new models arc:—2s 'h.p. five-seater (including electrio self-starter, electric lights, and full road equipment), .£3is; 25 h.p. threc-seater (same equipment), .£335. They are even better than the 1015 model, which has given such magnificent satisfaction to all purchasers.- Adams, Ltd., N.Z.
