CHANGE RE CITY MEN FOR NEXT DRAFT. • Tile City Group Office stated yesterday that the City and suburban quota of men for the Thirteenth Reinforcements, who are to go into camp on February 8, and who have been called up to parade' oil that date, will now be required to parade on February 7, in order that a dental examination may bo made before the men go into camp. The recruits mil camp at the Garrison Hall, Buckle Street, for the day and the night, and proceed to the training camps on the Tuesday.

Sergeant Percival A. Hillary, of the Second- Reinforcements, 15i;h North Auckland Infantry Battalion, is returning to Auckland by the steamer Rotorua, which is due this week. Sergeant Hillary was born at Dargaville, Northern Wairoa. For twelve years he was employed on the staff of tho "Bell" newspaper in that district, and afterwards joined" tho "New Zealand Herald" at Auckland. After gaining some further experience bo bought tho "North Auckland Times." He sold out as soon as possible upon the outbreak of war, and reached Egypt in time to leave with the Main Body for Gallipoli. He was present at the landing on April 25, and through tho severe engagements in tho earlier part of the campaign there. After three months on the Peninsula only 1G out of the 227 riien of his company were left. Sergeant Hillary was then injured by a bomb, and was sent to Malta, where it was found that injuries to liis ears and eyes were so serious as to necessitate his removal to Fmgland. "While in England he qualified for a commission, but the medical authorities would not allow him to return to the front, and ordered him to New Zealand.
