THE TRADE WAR ON GERMANY.

A great meeting has been held at the Guildhall to discuss the question of trade and employment after the war. The overseas Agents-General attended. The Lord Mayor said: "We must ensure that commercial relations with Germany will never he re-established. Trade botween Britain and the Dominions must bo improved, and the trado of our Allies also stimulated." A resolution was adopted urging the Government and the Chamber of Cominerco to take immediate steps for the dofence and improvement of our trade.
