Tlie death is recorded of Sir Jameft Penn Boucaut,, ex-Judgo of tho Supremo Court of South Australia, aged 8n [Tho late Sir James Boucaut was a Cornishman, and was called to the Bar in 1855. Ho ; was tlirice Premier of South Australia, and distinguished foi his statesmanship. On his retirement in 1905, the "Register"' commented:— "He achieved enviable distinction as a statesman of unusual breadth of national policy, keenness of vision, powei of originality, and .courage in tho exe- ( cution of his designs."]
