A NEW GOLF CLUB
Now that the Wellington Municipal Golf Links ave in Rood-order and are being well patronised, suggestions have been made that a. club in connection <vith them should be formed. Accordingly a- mooting was called and about twenty of the most regular players met in the pavilion last Saturday, an'd with Dr. Cameron in the chair, got to busihpss. It was decided that a club should be formed to be called the Wellington Municipal Golf Club, with tho following officers and committee for the first year: —Captain, Dr. Cameron; treasurer, Mr. J. M'lntosh; secretary, Mr. W. Whitehead; committee, Messrs. N\ F. Dunlop, T. Gibson, A. Rogers, G. H. Scott, and P. C. Watt. The subscription is to be small, being estimated to cover the small expenses incidental to running a club, and to purchase a few small prizes to be competed for. All amateur golfers arc invited to join the club; particulars of subscription, etc., - may be obtained from the caretaker on tho links or from the secretary at 111 Customhouse Quay.
