Ail important trade development has just taken place locally, all the bakers in Wanganui having amalgamated their businesses with tho object of reducing the price of broad. This is to ho partly achieved by tho delivery carts working certain streets only, thus preventing overlapping and runs being operated by half a dozen different delivery carts. At tho same time another important feature of tho new development is the introduction of the cash system ; no credit whatever is to he given, and to start with broad is being reduced to 4s. 3d. per dozen coupons, with a further lowering of tho price as soon as circumstances permit.
