City prices—Advt. Mr. E. Quintan,'of tlie harbourmaster's staff, is leaving for Auckland today ■ to meet his son, Private Stanley Quintan, who lias been invalided home on the Rotorua. Private Quintan left New Zealand with the Main Body, and spent three months in the trenches at • Gallipoli before being invalided. Mr. \V. C. L. Baskivillc, who has lately been connected with the staS of the Johnsonville School, and was for maiiy years an assistant master at the Terrace School, leaves to-day for Carterton, where he becomes headmaster of the High School. Whilst in Wellington, Mr. Baskiville did a great deal to foster Rugby football in schools, and it was largely through his efforts that the annual competitions betweer tho schools were revived.
