The schemes submitted by the Patea County Council and Ohakune Borough Council for the expenditure of "thirds" accrued to September 30 last were approved.

The Under-Secretary of Lands advised that the board's recommendation to divide Section 3, Block VIII, Kaitieke, 193; acres 1 rood, between A. M. A. Millynn and H. Crowhurst cannot be given effect to.—lt was resolved to rescind the previous resolution and advise the parties concerned. S. M'Grafchi applied for a permit to cut silver-pine timber on the edge of Wainiarino Plains, in Sections 3 and 7, Block VIII, Manganui, and it was resolved to refuse the application. With regard to tho building on Croirn land near Owliango which. G. Boote was ordered to remove by a resolution of the Board dated October 28, 1915, it was resolved to adjourn consideration of tho matter in order that -Che Commissioner might personally inspect the property. It wa£ resolved that the undermentioned lots in Horopito West V.S. be no.t reoffered, but withdrawh from the Village Homestead conditions and dealt with in a general scheme for subdivision of the land adjoining, as recommended by the ranger: Section 10, area 9 acres 2 roods 16 perches, and Section 11, area 9 acres 2 roods 16 perches. J. J. Burn wrote with reference to a dam erected' on the Waiwetu Kiver affecting land in Epmii jTiimlct occupied l>.r himself and other settlers, and asked for relief,—lt was resolved to write to tho owners of the dam and request that it be lowered or removed.
