Messrs. Dalgßty and Company. Limited, Palmerston North, report having held their usual weekly sale at Palmerston North when they offered a. good yarding of sheep and cattle, which met with keen competition, and sold at the following prices :—Fat - ewes, 235. 2d.; forward ewes, 19s. 6d. and 205.; fat lambs, 18s.; shorn lambs, 18s.; shorn, lambs, 14s. Id. to 14s. 5d.; small shorn lambs, to 10s. 6d.; light fat cows, £7 155.; fat heifers, £7; yearling heifers, to £2 155.; 20-month steers, to £4; -2-year steerß, to £5 14s. 6d.; 3-year steers, £8 lis.; bulls, to £10.

Messrs. Owing to the extremely wet' weather experienced the stock did not look at their best. For the most part bidding, was good, and everything, except a couple of lines, changed hands, • but., at sligthly lower prices than'those ruling, at. late sales.
