The "Sporting and Dramatic Review" in the present issue more than maintains its high standard, both in black and white productions and letterpress. That popular northern future, tlio Wbangarei Racing Club's annual gathering, is shown in two full-page reproductions depicting events and well-known personalities in vfhich some telling likenesses are obtained. Views of the racing at the Wellington Summer Meeting are given with a line half-pago portrait of that splendid four-year-old. Bee, who won both the Wellington Cup and Club Handicap. The racing at Stratford is also depicted, with fine views of the Foxton annual meeting. Pictures of our soldiers- in Egypt, scenes from the Balkans under war, and ■ a frontispiece of Miss Daisy Jerome, the celebrated American comedienne* com* piste a most interesting neivspajjer production.—Advt.
