The Corinna will bo sent to southern ports tomorrow, and it is probable that her trip to New Plymouth will bs taken by the Kini early next week. OTAKI LEAVES HOME. Advice has been received that the Otakl left Liverpool on Sunday, January 23, for Australian and New Zealand ports. She is due here about April 2. The F. and S. Lino are agents for tho vessel. ESSEX TO LOAD HERE. Tho lecal office of the P. and S. Line has been advised that the steamer Essex has been fixed to load refrigerated cargo at New Zealand , ports next month for Avonmouth and Liverpool. She is due at Auckland from Australian ports on February 14, and will proceed thence to W'hangarei, Waitara, Wanganui, and Wellington in the order named. Being due here on February 28, the Essex will 9V dispatched for the Home ports mentioned on March 3.

THE ANNIE LARSEN. Messrs. Thomas Brown, Ltd., tho New Zealand agents for Hind, Rolph and Co. San Francisco, for whom tho. Ainericau schooner Annio Larsen. is chartered to bring a cargo of Oregon pino irom the Pacific Coast to Lyttelton, have, received a letter, dated December 16, stating that: "Immediately after leaving Gray's Harbour the Annie Larsen encountered very severe weathr, and we understand that within six hours after having left tho harbour the . seams had opened, and she was water-logged. Incidentally, the'Annio Larsen lost her second mate. A tug-boat picked up the vessel and towed her around Cape Flattery to-Puget Sound, where she is now discharging her cargo, in order to be repaired. We have not had any definite report as to the extent of her damage,but we understand from the owners that tho repairs will not take a very long time, and that she will sail again very shortly, which we trust will be the case," • cli'nce then a cablegram has been re* ociv,ed tstatiing that this t Annio Larsen was expeoted to sail again from Gray's Harbour about' January 20, so shotild reach Lyttelton towards the end of March.

She will berth at the Queen's Wharf No. 1 north this morning, and will be dispatched for Sydney at 5 p.m. Due here from northern ports this morning the Tarawera will leave 250 tons of cargo before proceeding on to tho south. The Mokoia having come out of dock at Port Chalmers tho Whangape has gone in for general overhaul. Tho New Zealand Shipping Company's Orari', which is en route from Wellington to London, is reported to have passed St. Yincent on Monday, January 24. In continuation of her journey from London to New Zealand ports, the liimutaka lafc Teneriffe on Monday, January 24.
