Hessr?. W. and 6. Tiimbull and 00., Ltd., report having "held their usual weekly .sal© of stock in their Waipoua (llanterton) ealo yards, on Wednesday, when a good yarding of blicqp and cattlo cama forward. Oompotition for sheep was very keen, but cattlo were not too brisk but a clcarance was made at the following' priocs:—Sheep: Pat owes, 255.; fa-t wethers, 21s. 9d. to 245.; f.m. ewes, 18s. 7d. to 205.; 4, 6,. 8-tooth ewes, 245.; failing-mouth ewes, 13s. to 16s. Bd.; b.f. lambs, 13s. 6d. to 13s. 9d.; small b.f. lambs, Us. 6(1. to lis. 9d; small woolly lambs, 12s. 9d.: small -shorn lambs, 9s. 4d. to 12s. Id.; good shorn ]ambs, 13s. 6d. to 14s. 2d. Cattle: 8-iuonth heifers, £3 18s. 6d.; 18mcnth dniry heifeTs, £3 7s. 6&.; IS-month steers (bad colours), £2 155.; store cow, .-64; Jersey bull, £2 25.; Holstein bull, £4 4s
