EASTBOURNE FERRY SERVICE.

Sir—As a resident of Muritai of 20 years I wouM_ like to know from "A Wellington Citizen," whose persiflage appeared in your columns' tliis morning, what it has to.do with him how we run our boats P "What has it got to do with him about our financial results? Ho talks, nonsense when he speaks of clipping tickets on a- holiday. No one is asked to keep his or her ticket. His last two lines, "parochial or amateur lines," is very funny also, and the wonder to me is that yon don't makesome inquiry before publishing such "piffle." We are very proud of our ferry service for such a small community, and I think. I voice the people of Muritai when I say so.—l am, etc., JAS. B. SPEED.
