JL pleasant- programme was arranged • at the Sailors' Friend Society on Tuesday by : Miss Fathers and party. During (he evoning a mouth-organ competition was held. A'short Temperanoe address was delivered by the Missioner (Mr. Mooro). At the close of an enjoyable evening a hearty . vote of • thanks was accorded the performers, who were: Misses Fairclough, BoxaU, Olsen, Clifford, Dawson, Fathers, Rev: Richards, Messrs. Bailey, Parnell (R.M.S. Corinthio), and Birch (s.s. John).
