TRAIN OVERWHELMED BY A SNOWSLIDE

Seattle reports that a train on t-lii, Great Northern Railway was overwhelmed by a snowslido near the sum- y rnit of tho Cascades. A number of cars were carried down 300 feet into a gulchj from which voices were heard. Th« , baggage and sleeper cars remain on tli? lino. Efforts are being made to reaclj the overwhelmed cars.
