A-HAWKE'S BAY SCHEME.. By Association. ■ Hastings, January 24. ; i The Fruitgrowers'. Association has decided to arrange for a free constant supply of fruit in season to the various, military camps, the troopships, and the Philomel. The chairman stated that if local orchardists contributed only 1 per cent, it would mean 500 cases. The association also appointed a committee to look after orchards belonging to men on active service.
