Something approaching the achisvemeiit of the members of the Church of Christ in Australia (which some years ago introduced the novelty of building a church in a day) was attempted at Lowfjr Hutt on Saturday. The members of the church at that place, finding their present school building inadequate to accommodate its growing classes, determined to erect a building in a day. Coombe, of Kilbirnie. _ Representatives of the Churches of Christ at Wellington, Wellington South, Kilbirnie, and Petono were present, and an energetic Ladies' Committee attended to the refreshments.
