William Ivan Vowless, aged 17, while bathing in a lagoon on the bc-ach yesterday afternoon, suddenly collapsed and died after being taken out of the water. A CHILD DROWNED. Dunsdln, January 24. Alma May, aged eighteen months, was drowned in a waterhole near her parents' residence at. Lindi's Crossing, Cromwell,. last evening. BODY FOUND IN HARBOUR. '' Auckland, January 24. The body of a man aged about 45 years was found in the harbour to-day. The body had apparently. been in the Jvater for a week. It has not yet been identified. KICKED BY A HORSE. Dennis Tobin, aged 80 years, residing at 2i4 Taranaki Street, was admitted to the Hospital on Saturday, suffering from a broken leg. H<» was reported to have been kicked by a horse.
