MASSAGE TRAINING AT THE UNIVERSITY
In answer bo suggestions by the ; Senate of the New Zealand University and the Council of the New Zealand Branch of the British Medical Association, a course of massage training has been carried on during the,.last three years in Ihinedin in connection with tho Otago University and the Dunedin Hospital. We understand that the certificate issued will qualify for registration in terms of the Masseur Registration Bill, which the Hon. G. W. Russell has promised will come before Parliament next session. There has been great need in the past in the Do'minion for the services of full certificated masseurs who are competent 116 adequately carry out the treatment prescribed by the surgeon, and the need is all the greater owing to the return of so many invalided and crippled soldiers from the front. The Dunedin Massage School fulfils a distinct want. The next course begins on March 8 at tho Otago University.
