A merry party celebrated 'Anniversary Day at the Sailors' Friend f-Jociety, when various Rames -were entered into under tlie guidance of the Missioncr (Mr. Moore). In the evening a concert was provided by Madame Mueller and party; a conundrum competition was held, and refreshments were handed round. Tim prizes won during the day were presented by Madame Mueller. At . the close of an enjoyable evening, a hearty vote of thanks was accorded the per-formers,-who were as follow. —Madame Mueller, Mrs. Stark,' Misses Mueller and Harper, Messrs. Stark, Bryant, Allan, and Hayes. The accompanist was Mr. Allan. Prize-winners were: Messrs. Simmons, Thompson. Cleverly, Martini, Taylor, Miller, ahd Henderson.
